I agree with Ahmadinejad, with Saddam went all the secrets. The secrets behind US Support, French Supprt, British Support, etc. We may never know the truth.

    Wa Salaam,
    Ali

He was an oppressor, who has been brought to justice, alhamdulillah. The truth will always surface, because it stands clear from falsehood.

To phrase it in a credal way: What would the aimma say about this?. Does not the history of the Jafari madhab have ample examples of action that would oppose this?

    M.Husayn,

Let me ask you, did he repent?

    M. Husayn,

    Salaamun ‘Alaikum,

I just finsihed reading the book “Mukthar” (on one of the avengers of Karbala). He was responsible of convicting over 18,000 people who took part in the killing and torturing of Imam Husain (as) and his family. If you were to read the accounts of how some of these people were killed for their crimes, you will not question this hanging. Furthermore, Mukthar had the blessings of Muhammed Hanifiya, Ibrahim ibn Malik -e- Ashtar, and Imam Sajjad (as).

Saddam created the system. He went through process he created. And he died the way he killed others. Justice, for sure.

    Wa Salaam,
    Ali

The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,

    Al Maida Ayah 33

I personaly would have wanted them to enact this punishment:
“their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides”
